UK to allow significant business people to visit WITHOUT quarantine

If your visit to the UK is likely to be of ‘significant economic benefit’ to the UK (i.e. more than 500 jobs at stake) and cannot be done remotely or by someone else, the UK Government is relaxing/removing the rules for you.

You can also establish a new business within two years to exempt yourself from the awful quarantine hotels at Heathrow, for which you would normally pay £1750.

Meetings are to be conducted in a ‘COVID-secure’ way and those visiting under this exemption to the rules for everyone else, must isolate when not actually undertaking the work that got them admitted.

The Guardian reports on this today.
