Can a crew make or break a flight? Sometimes, but on this trip from JFK to LAX, the real problem was the weather. A 100 minute delay on the ground at JFK didn’t help the crews disposition.

American launches new status Fast Track – including Executive Platinum

Are Hyatt House properties getting a make over? Hyatt House Miami
My go to property at Miami Airport is the Hyatt House. It’s close to the airport and provides good value, and free breakfast, shuttle and WiFi. And, it seems as if it’s getting a makeover. I hope this is going to be rolled out to all Hyatt Houses.

American Airlines 757 service from Dublin to New York – Business Class
Originally booked when the plane was a shiny 767, frequent changes of plane and timing, meant that my Dublin to JFK flight turned in to a horrid 757 experience. The 16 seats would, you might have imagined, allowed the crew to concentrate on making up for the awful seats. On this flight the crew really were not interested in the passengers and it showed.

With queues at the TSA only set to grow over the coming months, airside connectors are becoming a good way for airports to help passengers connect quickly. A new corridor at SFO links AA in Terminal 2 with US still in Terminal 1.
