If you earn Starwood points with Uber, remember to book a stay in January

One of the ways in which I earn most of my Starwood points is through their partnership with Uber. You need to register in advance for you you to earn 1 starpoint per US$ spent on Uber. If your Uber trip is during (the day of arrival and departure count), a Starwood hotel stay you get 2 starpoints per US$.

However, each year, before you can earn you have to have a Starwood hotel stay. So if, like me, you earn with Uber, make sure you have a booking early in January to get 2017 off to a great start.
