Kenyan government confirms bomb found in bathroom on Mauritius to Paris flight

Kenyan authorities have confirmed that the device found in a bathroom on an Air France flight from Mauritius to Paris is indeed a bomb. The flight made an emergency landing in Mombasa and all passengers and crew are safe.

Authorities are questioning two people reports say.

The airport is closed and passengers are at nearby hotels.

The Kenyan navy has taken the device away to be safely detonated.
