Senegal Airlines is emerging as a significant player in Africa’s aviation sector, having launched in 2011 to fill the gap left by the defunct Air Afrique. With a partnership between the Senegalese government and private investors, the airline operates from its hub in Dakar, offering regional flights with a modest fleet of Airbus A320s and an ATR 72.
