It’s been a rather crazy first few months of the year at work so I was actually thinking of taking a couple days off for a stay-cation and some much needed “me time”. At the same time, I have a ton of miles burning a hole in my pocket, and am getting the travel itch since we don’t have any international trips planned until October. Then the idea dawned on me, why not do something that satisfies both desires? In other words, why I don’t I do a stay-cation where I’m traveling, but at the same time not really traveling.
The redesigned ‘The Pier’ First Class lounge at HKG is a new concept in airport lounges with high quality design and execution. Worth a visit if you can.
The No.1 Traveller Lounge at Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal offers a stylish and modern retreat for travelers. With a variety of zones to relax, complimentary food and drinks, and stunning runway views, it provides a comfortable pre-flight experience. Open daily, the lounge is easily accessible after security.
The review of the Bolero Executive Lounge at Warsaw highlights its basic offerings and shared space with multiple airlines. While it provides clean bathrooms and a place to grab a drink, the limited food options and lack of entertainment make it less appealing, especially for those expecting more from a business class lounge experience.
