Korean Air VP gets 1 year in prison over ‘nut rage’

The well covered story of Heather Cho who instructed that a plane be returned to the gate following a service failure has ended sadly. The one year sentence may say more about the aftermath of this incident than the actual incident. Forcing a member of staff to kneel to apologise, and then the Chief Steward being forced off the plane, are huge errors of judgement.

Whether a prison cell is the right place for her to lose a little of her own dignity I will leave you to decide.
